Key Norse Looks For Our Guys...

Posted on

Spring is that time of year when the festival vibes start to seep onto the horizon, the weather begins to get a bit brighter, and we shed the thick winter layers for a lighter look.

Spring is all about change and after six months locked into the winter wardrobe of heavy knits, puffa jackets and workwear trousers, the season of bloom brings a wave of new product that's popping with colour, thick and fast to our shop floor.

We’ve selected some key looks by bringing you some fresh spring pieces from Norse Projects and from your favourite brands from around the world.. These Norse  looks are fresh from the unboxing and fully embrace spring:

Firstly, The Weekender...

This is a light look that will keep you feeling fresh on those warmer days but zipped up against those old April showers when the inevitable heavens open.

The Norse Kalmar jacket is a packable raincoat, fully waterproof but super breathable. The Kalmar is paired up with a towelling like texture tee, always try and mix up your textures for added interest, here nylon with a textured under tee) ,  The look is finished with a pair of blue rinse Edwin ED-55 and the classic Ecru/Gum Sole Novesta pumps. The premium high sided sole on the Novesta is perfect footwear for that unpredictable British climate.

Next up, The Casuals...

The Norse Ystad Parka is cut in a vintage style, harking back to the mods of the day and again lightweight to wear, ideal for the humid London commute, yet equipped with a hood in the high collar in case of an emergency.

The Ystad is layered over a mustard coloured Johannes striped tee, remember pairing greens and yellows together is always a winning colour combo. Paired up with those we've got our new Nudie Sleepy Sixten cut which is a looser, straight leg jean which we've turned up to show more of those Clarks Desert Trek’s.
The Desert Treks, a certified classic if ever there was one, are really the benchmark for premium suede and we've been championing them for the last couple of years.

Lastly, Look Sharp...

We've been banging on about corduroy for a while now, well, the baby cord fabric on this Norse Osvald Shirt is next level for softness.

This is going to be a big spring piece for us, it effortlessly pairs with a dark denim jean like the raw Edwin Red Listed ED80 as shown here but when the warmer months hit, this beauty will look great un-buttoned, with a white tee and a tailored short.
The look is finished with another of the Clarks classics, the timeless desert boot but now in a London style shoe; again with the straight leg jean turned up to show off that red listed selvage.

For free style tips and advice be sure to swing by our Greenwich store; the guys are currently diving into our new spring collection and every day brings a new unboxing of treats. With many of their own favourites on the rails; they'll be swift to show you how to best embrace the change.

Bring the Spring,

The Bernard family,
