Every month we hand over the blog over to our playlister-in-chief Ollie, to tell you all about this month's musical picks.  Read on to listen, find out more, and enjoy.

Welcome to May’s Boat Floaters selection for Meet Bernard: a bumper, 38-track soundtrack for your audio delectation.
With summer around the corner, and things – including the best clothes shop in south east London – opening up, finally, I wanted to share some feel-good tunes.
We start slowly and soulfully this month, with Camille Yarbrough’s Take Yo’ Praise – no prizes for spotting who sampled the first couple of lines for a monster track back in 1999 – and Mike James Kirkland’s Hang on in There.
Also early on there is a brilliant, banging version of The Joubert Sisters’ Stand on the Word, plus a forgotten Epilogue take of Sylvester’s You Make Me Feel – Mighty Real (discovered thanks to Luke Una, whose lengthy sessions on Worldwide FM have been a musical highlight for me in the last year).
From there we skip around the world, from Lebanon to Brazil, from South Africa to Germany, and on to Surinam – what a track Happiness by Errol De La Fuente is! – and elsewhere …
We move into some more serious dance stuff, with Melbourne maestro’s All I’m Missing Is You, from his new album, before mellowing out with the Anoraak rework of Kimchii’s Windsurf. You can sense the sea water tickling your shoeless toes on this last one.
I hope these tracks connect with you – let me know,  and please check out my mixes at the Boat Floaters Mixcloud page.
Good luck to you and yours as we unlock the entrance to a better tomorrow.
Yours in music,
Ollie (Boat Floaters)
